Finally, the last hoop has been leapt through. After what seems an age, we have placed the final stepping stone in the river and managed to reach the other side. Or bank. As in, we finally have a bank account and can now transfer the funds over, required to buy the house in Trosa. It was a great day. A momentous day.
Mirinda went down to meet with a bank officer and, after a few hours, came away with a brand, spanking new, Swedish bank account. I was a bit concerned because it took so long but, no, it all went perfectly.
Now I have to plan our return trip to the UK. It won’t last long as we have to be back by July 31, when we get the keys to our new house.
I am getting quite excited.
