Wet through

It rained this evening. It wasn’t great Queensland like torrents of rain, however it also wasn’t that soft English rain that doesn’t make you wet. This rain was light but constant and enough to make you feel pretty damp, all the way through.

It wasn’t like that all day. Okay, it wasn’t exactly sunny – actually it was just grey – but it was dry. And because it had been dry all day, I figured I’d not have to wear my raincoat into London for Date Night. I know, I know, I’m an idiot.

Anyway, tonight we ate at Wagamama in Jubilee Place. I just fancied it, having not eaten there for ages…and never having been to the Jubilee Place branch.

We had a lovely dinner then strolled back to the flat as the rain started spitting. When I left for Waterloo, the spitting was a bit heavier. By the time I reached Farnham, it was actually raining. When I walked in the door at home, I was pretty much wet. Which matched the poodles who were saturated because, for some reason, they sit around the side of the house waiting for us to come home regardless of the weather.

Stupid poodles.
