A day in the death

It’s been an awful week. Lots of debate and recriminations, shouting and abuse, gallons of tears. No-one has owned up to it either, so it’s pretty much senseless; no reason at all.

We had three minutes of silence at work at 11am and a lovely service in St Paul’s, broadcast live on the BBC, so we sort of half watched it at work.

Tonight we went to Woking and saw A Day in the Death of Joe Egg. Excellent!

Clive Owen, Victoria Hamilton and Prunella Scales were in it. All brilliant. Flawless. The two supports were also excellent though the guy was a clone of FB! Scary.

The little girl playing Joe Egg was terrific.

Play very funny and very moving.

I went to the dentist for fillings this morning which wasn’t as much fun.
