Library day 3

After the floor comes the shelves and cupboards. Last night I spent a good few hours clearing everything out (again) in readiness. This morning, against all the odds, Claude turned up with his two jolly workers and they got stuck in.

The library was stacked up in sections against every available wall resembling a jigsaw with the added difficulty of each jigsaw piece being wrapped in cloth.

By the end of the day, the library was starting to take shape. It looked like this.

Should be another day and a half (one of the guys has to put his car in for an MOT tomorrow and will be leaving early) but it already looks brilliant.

PS: Sir Paul (the deaf engineer from Talking Newspaper) died today. Very sad.
