So they saw Warsaw

Late in the day, Denise and Tracey journeyed across to Poland. The photos they took from the plane as they approached the airport hardly inspired one. It all looked a bit industrial.

Their hotel was rather posh. It was also ridiculously noisy because it’s in the middle of the new town. They opened the window but were deafened which meant they could leave it open since they could no longer hear anything.

Here in Surrey, mum rested up and I made a Special Sunday Breakfast, something I haven’t done for quite some time. I made Croque Madame Muffins with a slice of unintentional super crispy bacon on the side. They were enjoyed by all.

Before lunch, Mirinda and I took the girls up to Hankley for a long and poodle strewn walk. Mum stayed home in the warmth and suddenly dog free extension.

"Into the woods..."

“Into the woods…”

Mirinda has an early hot breakfast tomorrow at which she is expected to speak so she figured it was wiser to stay at the flat tonight rather than have to rise earlier than is socially acceptable.

We had lunch then told mum to have a sleep and Mirinda left just gone 4 of the clock. The house was awfully quiet for a bit but then the coughing started again.

Mum’s cough is really terrible and wakes her up at every opportunity. It’s not good. I’m going to drag her to the doctor tomorrow. Maybe a week off will do the trick.

  1. Mirinda says:

Poor josie. I hope by the time I get back in Friday she’s much better.

The breakfast was delicious (Gary’s Sunday breakfast not my Monday breakfast) and we should do that every Sunday!
