Mirinda had her Book Group today but then, rather than return to us, she went off to a residential dinner. It was her college residential and she had to give a talk. When I say ‘her college residential’ I mean the one she’s built and runs, not the one for her DBA. Anyway, it meant some fine planning but it all worked out okay. She hasn’t told me if the food was any good but she did say her talk was short.
As for us, we watched a couple of football games (damn this World Cup…it’s so addictive), went for a walk and, generally…well, watched more football, I guess.
I did get a short break from Day-z Duty (DD) by going into Farnham early on because Mirinda couldn’t find her scrunchie. Other than that, it was just the two of us.

I did get a rather annoying email from our website host today. They are changing over to different servers which means a mass migration of everything from one server to another. This might sound like it’s more of a pain for them than me but that’s not exactly the case. I have to change everything on my laptop that connects to the host as well as redirect the domain names. It’s supposed to happen on Wednesday. I’m not looking forward to it.
It will probably mean that the website will be unavailable for a few days while things synch up.
Oh Dear what a shame it might work better no photo to day oh well.
