Awake at 7am and watched Dr Who, then took puppies for a long walk up Hammer Hill and as far as Marley Common. It was very hot and sunny.
The rest of the day I spent ‘pottering around’ and cleaning up a bit. Also did LOTS of washing.
It was so hot that my wicking tops were dry after 30 minutes spent outside.
I finally saw The Importance of Being Earnest with Colin Firth. It was excellent, though I wonder at the changing of ages so Jack is younger than Algy when part of Algy’s appeal is his youth played against Jack’s stodge.
Reese Witherspoon was an excellent Cecily and Dr Chasuble very, very funny.
I have discovered that Soap is on Paramount!
