This is my 1.500th blog post. That’s a lot of blog posts!
And, it was Alice in Wonderland day as well. It celebrates the first telling of the Alice story on the banks of the river with Lewis Carroll entertaining his little friends with his wonderful, wonderful story of a time aware rabbit, deep holes and a red royal family.
To celebrate Alice’s Day, there’s an awful lot of stuff happening in Oxford this weekend. What a pity we won’t be there. I find it quite annoying that I never know about these things before it’s far too late to actually go.
Apart from celebrating such an important day, I was garden and housework bound, with a walk around the park for good measure. So, not a lot to report. And just a short post for the 1500th.

LATE EDITION
On Saturday, we bought a new half moon lawn edger. On Monday I started to use it. After five goes, the handle snapped and I was left with a broken handle and a metal edger.
I was rather annoyed and sent an email to the company, saying their ten year guarantee should actually be a ten minute guarantee. I had a reply quickly, asking for my address to send a replacement.
Today the replacement turned up and, I am happy to report, lasted more than five times.
Sometimes companies surprise me. Thank you to the wonderful Carol at Burgon and Ball, Sheffield.
While I think of it have you made your blog writing bigger or did you make our computer bigger not that it matters it is good. At least you got a replacement. Wow 1500 hundred keep going we enjoy it.
love mum xx
