Today someone was filming a commercial outside the Spar at the bottom of Mirinda’s block of flats. As I approached, production people were holding back non-production people, in order to keep them out of shot, as the talent walked through. This happened many, many times.
I have no idea what the commercial is going to be once completed and, as I said to Mirinda, we’re very unlikely to see it (given we don’t watch commercial TV). However, they had taken over a vacant shop next to the Spar and had rigged it up to look like a TV shop, so maybe it’s something to do with audio visual hardware.
Once upstairs, Mirinda said it had been very noisy on the street all day. I told her about the commercial. She nodded, sagely, saying that that explained it.
We had a lovely dinner at Wagamama before I left for home.
And, in response to mum’s comment about my knowledge of gardening…I owe virtually everything to Mirinda. She knows an awful lot about it and I just do what I’m told. However, the fruits of my labours are generally pretty good. Here, for instance, is the dahlia I planted yesterday.
Also, the nasturtiums that have self seeded along the edge of the hot border have started opening. Here’s the first.
And the reason why? Well, I’d say it has something to do with these sorts of chaps.
One more photo…we generally go for our walk in the park after lunch. It seems the squirrels eat a little later than we do.
Well even if you don’t know much you are doing a very good job the colours of your flowers are lovely.
love mum xx
