Today was, basically, the opposite of Monday, comprising me putting everything back in the bedroom and study. It also included the distribution of various items of clothing from where they’d been deposited in the lounge room, given they had nowhere to go upstairs, having been washed.
That was about it except for a walk in the park where Carmen decided to have an FSI. Here she is looking particularly pleased with herself, displaying the evidence of her deed.
It’s a good job the Internet doesn’t allow smells because this was pretty foul! So, a bath for Carmen was the very next order of business on our return home before I completed the room moving exercise.
In other Olympic Stupidity News (and, yes, the crisps and trainers story was true), it has come to my attention that certain Olympic events will not allow cameras over and above certain ‘professional’ categories. The information is a little sketchy about what ‘professional’ means but the consensus is anything with a detachable lens.
One of the sponsors of the London Olympics is Panasonic and one of their cameras, the Lumix G3, is being sold as something that “Fans of the Olympic Games can now capture, keep and share this momentous occasion with specially-designed London 2012 merchandise.” The trouble is, the Lumix G3 has a detachable lens which, one presumes, puts it in the professional class of cameras.
So, clearly, you can’t use the Lumix G3 to capture anything to do with the Olympics…even though Panasonic says you can. Some of this stuff is just farcical.
