A big kerfuffle at work today. Martin was not happy with one of the trivia questions…or, rather, the answer. Nicole told him to fuck off, quite loudly. He was taking it all far too seriously.
At about the same time, the database broke. It threw up a message regarding MSySdb which, I discovered, after surfing for a few hours, has been a known issue since MS Access version 2! There are some ways to fix it but they are not very good and, in fact, didn’t work. Most depressing. Good job I backed it up yesterday.
We went and saw Deathtrap at Woking tonight. David Soul played Sidney Bruhl. He was very good, though a bit old, I thought. He did it remarkably like I did. Cliff was very good too but the wife, played by Susan Penhaligon, was really bad. Good set. We both had a good laugh.
