All week there have been warnings about the weather today. It hit in the morning and was every bit as mean and nasty as was promised. Though it didn’t last very long.
I felt rather sorry for our new neighbours at the cottage. When they arrived it was during a ferocious thunder storm (they ended up sitting in the car, waiting to unpack) and, when they left this morning, it was during a ferocious thunderstorm. Now that’s unlucky.
It started just as Mirinda set off for guitar and I took Day-z for her morning ablute. We managed to collect a few raindrops but found shelter back in the cottage just before the deluge.
The storm, however, was all gone in about an hour and the rest of the day was pretty close to perfect. It was perfect enough for us to take a glorious walk across Farnham Heath but not before Mirinda passed judgement over the big sliding doors and the inside/outside tiles. And her judgement was absolute delight. She loved it all.
In fact, it was a pretty close to a perfect day except for one thing…the website went down again. The same thing happened two weeks ago and I thought they’d fixed the spiking caused by someone else. Clearly it was only a temporary fix. Very annoying. Fingers crossed it’s fixed soon.
WOW!!!! The doors look great what a lovely picture it will be when your garden is finished as well to see that view every day.
