A little bit of spring has sprung in the garden and lent a little colour to the world. The daffodils outside the office have started coming out.
The day started out a bit foggy but eventually the sun appeared and the sky remained blue. It was a lovely day.
Mirinda worked from home and I did admin and house stuff. Late in the day we took Day-z for a lovely walk around the park. It was almost perfect.
I had a rather upsetting phone call with the crematorium. The stupid person I spoke to at the vet’s sent Carmen to them but without any identification. They’d been trying to find her owner.
Their first option was to see if she was registered at a vet. They rang around until they found the right one. They then obtained our phone number and rang us. Oddly, they didn’t think to ring us using Carmen’s name tag…but perhaps they thought we’d find this too upsetting.
They rang and spoke to Mirinda. I then rang them and arranged everything that needs to be arranged. We should have her ashes by next Monday at the latest.
The woman I spoke to was lovely. I envy no-one that sort of job. The person at the vet, however, I have no time for. They took their money quick enough. I was furious. I didn’t ring them in case I said something I shouldn’t. I think I’ll write them a scathing letter.
Anyway, the daffs are beautiful, the walk was lovely and we had a pleasant night together at home.
The Daffs are lovely what a sight to see,That was a dreadful thing to do don’t go to that vet again.
love mum and dad xx
