Too late for regrets

It’s one thing to write about the deaths of well known people I’ve never met but today is a bit different. Bill, who I met through Nicktor and by going to see Aldershot play, died of a heart attack, suddenly, yesterday.

Poor Nicktor is absolutely devastated. They’ve been mates since they were teenagers.

It was so sudden and completely unexpected. I was only talking to Bill a fortnight ago about his kids – a daughter at uni and a son about to start.

It just goes to show you how important it is to live every day as much as you can because you never know how many you have left. It’s always too late for regrets.
