Early start to Hampton Court Palace.
There was a special Tudor revelries thing happening. Lots of different events with actors dressed in Tudor outfits. In the first one we went to (Lords and Ladies) it showed what they would have got up to in court, they asked for a volunteer. Naturally, no one else did so I stood up. Had a lot of fun.
Then we attended a story telling – a rather gory story about Robin Hood.
We were then taken through each court by a chap dressed for the 1700’s.
Finally we wandered through the Tudor kitchens which were operational.
Apart from these, we also tackled the maze. Drew videoed, very much Blair Witch style which was very funny. We also visited the queen’s apartments and Henry VIII’s rooms, including the so-called haunted gallery.
About 2pm Denise and Co headed for Kay’s. I walked over to Farelli’s and Mirinda picked me up.
Went home via East Worldham. Naturally.
