Here’s what our kitchen looks like on paper. It’s drawn in pencil so it’s a bit difficult to read but, hopefully, the general idea is here. The heavy black lines are the existing walls.
The day broke glorious this morning so, after shopping and Skyping, we set off for Hankley. It looked gorgeous and delightfully devoid of last week’s crowds. Hankley always looks wonderful but it’s so much more under blue skies.
When we reached the ridge, we spotted a bit of activity near where the old Skyfall mansion stood. A truck loaded with something, a blue container and a number of workers. Another film, perhaps? It was hard to make out what was going on and I only had my small camera so this is the best I could do.
This is the general area where they parked James Bond’s car prior to filming. Of course, it could just be the army doing something mundane but we’re hoping for greater things. Stay tuned.
Back at the house, following a rather late lunch, Mirinda spent an hour in the garden while I pottered around the house before making roast chicken for dinner.
Things are heading towards a furious end in Breaking Bad and we watched two episodes. Between the two, I watched Ronnie O’Sullivan win the snooker in definitive style.
It was a wonderful day.
Wow !! lets hope another movie, mind you we have not seen Skyfall yet.
