There were a few failures today and a few successes. I guess that evens things up. Still, the failures were a bit depressing. They were mostly to do with organising getting essential services sorted out before we collect the keys to the house. There are a lot of ducks to get in a row before we can finish. Bureaucracy is alive and well in Sweden.
That was nearer the end of the day. I struggled away while Mirinda took the girls for a walk just before dinner after she’d found a few options. It was a team effort.
Earlier we’d been into Trosa for a coffee at Tre Små Rum (Three Small Rooms) where things haven’t changed a bit and the coffee is still very good. Not that I expected it to change too much in a couple of months. Though there were fewer crows than the last time we visited.
We were surprised the centrum wasn’t more crowded. According to the server at Tre Små Rum, the season has been unusually quiet this year.
After a visit to the System and a bit of a wander, we headed for the ICA for food for the next three days.
While the centrum may not have been crowded, the ICA was a maelstrom of trolleys. I’d said that the car park was delightfully bare as we pulled into a car spot but the number of shoppers wheeling around the shop belied the lack of transport.
Mind you, the majority were good trolley drivers. Usually, when I shop later than first thing, the supermarket is full of drivers who seem to have never used a trolley before. They collide with you or just park in the middle of an aisle, then go and collect shopping to bring back to it. Their knowledge of wheels is remarkably uninformed.
But not today. All was smooth and hassle-free.
I waited in the car, with the girls, while Mirinda went into the Apotek. I noticed that the Gallerian was having a sale.
I’m pretty sure it’s not a shop for me.
