Angelic Alton?

This sign greeted me as I left Farnham Station this evening. I have no idea what it’s supposed to mean…

Since when has Alton been in any way angelic?

While cute, it’s rather odd.

[BREAKING NEWS: It seems that South West Trains has changed a whole bunch of station names to be a bit festive. I rather like London Winterloo instead of Waterloo and Twinkleham instead of Twickenham. There’s a few of them changed over the Christmas period. What a lovely idea. It would seem it is making people smile.]

Today I went up to the flat to clean. I haven’t been since August and was prepared for the worst…only it wasn’t that bad. Mirinda has clearly done her best to keep it tidy. Even so, I didn’t quite finish and will go back at the end of the week.

The Maine Tower site is coming on in leaps and bounds. There’s now a lot of cranes and a core riser.

Starbucks at Jubilee Place, Canary Wharf managed to cock up my coffee today. It was nothing like what I ordered. Sadly it wasn’t until I was halfway to the flat that I took a sip and realised. In future I’ll need to remember to check before I leave the shop.
