Differences in passage

Bollmoravägen is one of the main roads into Tyresö Centrum. The last time we were here, a long stretch of one side of it was a green hill with trees and a footpath. Now it is undergoing some pretty extensive building works. It looks like it’s going to be mostly flats. We’ve driven passed the works a few times but, this evening, we made the mistake of driving into it.

We were meeting Fifi, a dog minder who Mirinda found on Rover. While her flat is beyond the building works, it is quite difficult to find. According to Fifi, she regularly has delivery people claiming they are downstairs waiting for her only to have her correct them. It’s the difference between a ‘vägen’ (road) and a ‘stigen’ (path) that has people confused.

Anyway, we managed to drive around her flat a few times, one time through the aforementioned building site, before finally locating it. And her. And her dog, Winnie.

The reason we needed a dog minder is because, on Saturday, we’re going into Stockholm to see Sweeney Todd, something I am so looking forward to. Then, Sunday morning, we’re off to Trosa to view another house. Rather than leave the girls alone for such a long time, two days in a row, we looked and found Fifi. She’ll be excellent.

And Winnie is insane. When excited, she does a full 360° spin. Brilliant dog.

Not so brilliant was Mirinda’s day. She had a full day meeting with one of the boards she’s a non-exec on. Because of this, I took the girls for their usual walk.

I took them around the block, via the small football pitch and down to the water’s edge. The day was gorgeous (and quite a bit warmer than it has been) but I don’t think many people will be using the diving platform any time soon.

Also, the grass was a bit smooshy given the rise in temperature. Hopefully it’ll all freeze again soon.
