Back in late October, I wrote about the sudden appearance of snow windows in Farnham. Most of the windows have gone, scraped off ages ago. This morning I noticed one that remains. I thought it odd that it had, apparently, been forgotten. On closer examination, I realised it hadn’t been forgotten. Far from it.
It is the reindeer on the optician’s window in the Lion and Lamb which, originally, looked like this.
Now that the weather is warming and the first signs of Spring are everywhere, the stark wintry scene is undergoing its own change.
Little bits of colour which include a robin, green shoots, antler flowers and snowdrops, now dot the scene. It’s such a clever idea.
I wonder whether it’s going to keep changing with the seasons.
