The final day of January was bright, blue and only slightly breezy. The perfect January day and possibly the best one this year, so far. It would be so nice to report that I did anything special but, sadly, I did not. I spent most of the day researching dead soldiers and preparing dinner. I went outside to check the empty letter box and take the dogs out to relieve themselves, but that was it.
Mirinda, of course, managed a couple of walks with the dogs so at least she made it outside. I thought she might head up to the local café at some stage, but she was too busy on her computer, researching local council planning details in Trosa. This is to ascertain whether we can replace windows at The Pink House.
I also sent an email to a contact at the council, supplied by the real estate agent, Karin, asking much the same things.
I didn’t take any photos today. However, here is a photo I took yesterday, of a discarded flamingo, wearing a scarf and lying on top of a recycling bin, behind the local Coop.
There’s a story there but, sadly, I don’t know it.
