This morning, Des and Sam returned to complete the driveway following yesterday’s rain interruption. It didn’t take long before our new driveway was complete for inspection and immediate approval. It looks superb.

Mirinda is considering putting some trailing lobelia in the breeze block openings. Well, after removing the gravel, of course. I asked if they had super strong roots like the hollyhocks and she assured me they definitely did not.

True to his word, Des texted me his bank details and, true to mine, I gave him a glowing report on Check-a-Trade. In fact, if anyone wants the services of an excellent landscaping company, here’s a link to Farnborough and Border Services (FAB), where you’ll find Des.
