I am happy to report that Freya, following her horrendous Sunday, is back on the road to recovery. In order to speed that recovery up, she ate five meals today (two dog and three cat). She was also far more lively. I have no idea what yesterday was all about except, maybe to ensure that I was incredibly tired, something that called for a rare afternoon nap, interrupted by Emma insisting that she be taken for a walk.
All of that aside, and most importantly, Freya still lives, albeit in a delicate state.

My delicate state was cured quite easily with my two-hour power nap.
The rest of my day, either side of the nap, was mostly concerned with cooking. According to Mirinda, my kitchen skills have improved from going on the retreat, and I am feeling more confident in my presentation. Though presentation took a bit of a beating for dinner.
I made my beef parmigiana, but it was in the oven a little bit too long owing to Mirinda chatting to Sophie for a bit longer than I had planned on. Still, it was delicious just not photo-in-the-blog worthy.
Lunch, on the other hand, I thought turned out rather well.
I made bacon and egg cupcakes with a small salad.

Okay, I should have drizzled the Kewpie a little more carefully but, otherwise, I think it looked pretty good. It was very tasty.
