Unsolved

Today was pretty dull as far as blog entries are concerned. The most interesting thing, really, is the Stalking Report below and that has no answer. And, cards on the table, I didn’t even take any photographs. Even the dogs weren’t home.

Lasse had picked them up at 10am and they didn’t return home until almost 5pm. This made the house very quiet. Well, apart from the constant company of radio station P2.

All I really did was scan a huge pile of papers relating to Hackney council. I did feel a great surge of satisfaction at decimating the minor hill that had taken up temporary residency beside my laptop. There was so much paper that I had to empty the shredder twice.

I did receive an email from Nicoline with the text for her Wikipedia entry, which I shall make a start on tomorrow. I also received some bibliographic insertions from Mirinda.

That was it. A bit dull, right? This, on the other hand, was possibly not.

Stalking report

Well, today saw a massive upsurge in views from all over and not just North Bergen. Here is the list of the top 10 for today:

Netanya, Israel194
Washington US111
El Segundo, US94
Santa Clare, US65
Naperville, US61
North Bergen, US58
New York City, US36
Cupertino, US28
Miami, US23
Dallas, US20

The US cities look like a return to when the blog was hit by a huge amount of, what I assumed was, AI scraping. It was then that I added the plugin to stop it. It seems they have returned.

The top spot is a city in Israel. I guess it could be a VPN. I don’t know. I have looked at the Wikipedia entry for Netanya but, apart from a specialist software company called Ceepo, it just seems like a normal city.

The majority of the views came between 9pm to midnight, Swedish time.

It’s all a mystery that will probably never be solved.
