Ten hours! I slept for ten hours last night. I woke up and it was light outside. That hasn’t happened since the summer. Almost. The net result of this somnambulism was that my cold was completely eradicated. Which was a very good thing. Sadly, the same cannot be said for my foot.
I managed to hobble around the house when required but was worried about the girls getting puppy cabin fever. Nicoline came to the rescue. Like an angel sent from above, she popped over and took them for a short walk.
At first, Emma was a tad confused, giving me a worried look as they left the glassroom. But, it didn’t take long before her tail was up, and she was headed out, forgetting me. Freya was more than happy to go and trotted confidently away without a backward glance.
It was very generous and kind of Nicoline given she was very busy. It was very much appreciated by me and the dogs.
Then, Mirinda organised Lasse to come over and collect them for a walk and visit tomorrow and Thursday. I feel surrounded by love and generosity.
So, yes, my foot is, if anything, worse. The axe leaning up against the fireplace was very tempting. I think I’ll be remaining housebound for a while. It was a good thing I bought so much food on Monday when I staggered to the ICA. Actually, Nicoline told me off for not calling her for a lift on Monday.
So, not a particularly good day though I did manage to pay some bills and sort out a spreadsheet for Mirinda. I also managed to watch a bit of the German Masters snooker from Berlin. Annoyingly it featured Kyren Wilson yet again.
I know he’s the defending champion and that he won the Masters in London last week but, surely, we, the snooker loving audience could get the opportunity to see someone else playing in the early rounds.

It was a close match which Wilson won five frames to four.

I’m on train on my way to Pompeii exhibition- hope foot gets better
Oh, lucky you! Enjoy!! And say hi to any Weasels you may spot.
