Day in the life

Woke up. Looked at the clock. Went back to sleep.

Woke up again. Put the dogs out. Yelled at Emma to get out from under the deck. Made a coffee. Returned to bed.

Listened to the World Service while drinking coffee. Despaired over the latest Trump horrorshow.

Got up and made my second coffee.

Composed morning blog post. Amended it. Fixed stupid grammar and spelling. Published the post. Read and edited a few old posts.

Had a shower.

Put a load of washing on.

Backed up the latest blog post. Worked on other admin. Amended my UK tax return. Cheered by the fact that I didn’t owe as much as they thought I did. Worked on a blog post for March.

Put another load of washing on.

Had another coffee while watching an episode of Seinfeld (the one with the suede jacket). Returned to my study for more admin.

Gave the girls their lunch. Made my own lunch – the usual big salad. Ate in front of the TV, watching an episode of the K-Drama, Hotel del Luna.

Hitched the girls up and took them for a walk. They were very excited.

Tried to take a cute photo of Freya.

Said hello to a couple in the woods. They were the only people I saw.

Back at home, fed the birds. The dogs watched, confused, from inside the house.

Watered the houseplants. Did some housework. Put washing away.

Had Reading Hour. The dogs climbed on me as usual. Possibly, favourite part of the day.

Fed the dogs dinner.

Settled down in front of the TV to watch Interstellar. Amazing movie, thoroughly enjoyed.

Washed up. Put dogs out in the snow. Yelled at Emma to get out from under the deck.

Went to bed.
