Planning for the gPod

Today was full of huge nails, bits of string and strange shapes on the ground. After the tree guy has rid us of the horrid hedge, we are going to get a garden office and the reason for the string and stuff was to plot it out in the garden. In order to work out where the best place is for it to go.

Naturally, the office will be for me (and everything that is presently stored in the storage unit) so I get naming and decorating rights. Naming is easy – gPod, or gazPod fits the bill perfectly, I think. As for decorating…all I’ll say is it may involve some rather bright pinks, yellows and blues. And my sitcom family tree, a project I’ve been threatening to begin for quite a long time.

This all may sound rather mysterious and odd but just wait and see…

But that wasn’t all we did. We also went up to the garden centre so Mirinda could buy some plants for me to plant and some horse manure for me to…spread. We also needed a new hose since the path guys pretty much stuffed up our old one with concrete and general mishandling.

That was about it for today. There’s nothing quite like a lovely quiet, lazy Saturday when the sky is blue and the sun is warm. And you discover that your tulips have suddenly burst open.

I love a yellow tulip
