Yesterday morning, Mirinda was wondering where she’d taken Lisa last year when she visited. I immediately brought up the blog posts and rattled off the various visitations. Two places she didn’t see last time were Stensund and Gisesjön so they were both on the agenda today. Particularly Stensund, where they had lunch with KSP.
I didn’t go because I was busy cooking. There were meatballs to make for tonight and moussaka for tomorrow. These kept me in the kitchen for most of the day. Not that I minded. I rather enjoy filling the house with delicious smells.
Though there was a moment of panic when I realised I didn’t have any breadcrumbs. Fortunately it was before they left the house so I could ask Mirinda for a quick, mercy dash to the ICA. It was my second visit today, something that was mentioned to me by three members of staff as I dashed through.
When I returned to the car, there was no-one in it. There were a few options for where they were so I just stood and waited on the bonnet of the car.

Lisa rather likes visiting foreign supermarkets to see how they are laid out, culturally. I hadn’t really thought about it but, actually, I rather like the same thing, but more because I’m the one who does the shopping and learning the layout is very handy.
Thankfully, I was back at the house very quickly and wrist deep in meatball mixture before very long as they left for Stensund.
They popped back after their lunch in order to pick the girls up and head for the lake.
We were all very lucky with the weather today. Mostly sunshine, a gusty breeze and few clouds. Best of all, there was no rain.
After their walk beside the lake, Mirinda and Lisa headed off for an exercise class with KSP. Lisa figured something called Core Flex Soft would be pretty easy going. She came back almost exhausted. And both of them were ready for dinner.
Afterwards, we played Cascadia, a most excellent game based on the bioregion down the western edge of Canada and North America. Which Lisa won. Just. It was jolly fun.
Also jolly fun were the lychee gummies that Lisa had bought in Hong Kong.

Very morish.
Oh, and Robert Redford died today. He was 89. So I guess Butch and Sundance are finally back together again.
