I was happily building a series of photo albums today when I came across a photo of Mirinda and Fi aboard their dad’s tinny. I felt it important to share this moment now that Mirinda is a boat owner herself. As usual, she is at the bow, directing, while Fi operates the outboard.

There was no boating today as I had a doctor’s appointment so, instead, Mirinda took the girls for a long walk.
I was busy preparing dinner when I received an urgent text message from her: “Bath alert for Emma, home in about 20.” I stopped preparing food and started preparing the bathroom.
Emma had managed to find the mother lode of fox shit on the walk. Honestly, she reeked. It’s been a while since the last time. I reckon she’d been saving it up for one, big, glorious roll. So gross.
Anyway, soon enough she was clean, dry and smelling dog shampoo fresh. I returned to the kitchen to finish dinner.
Oh, and the reason I went to the doctor was in order to get a referral to an orthotics place. Having seen Liz in a brace for her foot issue, Mirinda decided one could help my medical mystery. I managed to get the referral and, also, a very handy website. Thank you, Dr Matthias.
And, finally, here’s Emma, looking like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth.

The other thing I did today was record my latest Letter from Sweden. Here it is for anyone who wants to listen to it.
