Unreal thing

After a week away at training I had Nicole talking at me for an hour, filling me in on everything that happened. In a nutshell, apparently last week was terrible. Then again, today was pretty bad – lots of catching up. A highlight was Chris asking me to do some coding for I See TV.

We went to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to see The Real Thing tonight. Apart Max and Annie, the rest of the cast was pretty dire. Henry, in particular. The direction was awful too. A Real Shame if you ask me. But, fortunately, the dialogue still managed to shine. It’s such a brilliant play.

A giant moth tried to invade the stage during the second half. An old man felt compelled to tell the rest of us that it was a moth. “Oh, look at the moth!” He volunteered at the top of his voice. A pity it was during a dramatic moment rather than comic. Being a little old man he was probably concerned it would carry him off. It was a BIG moth, but not of Mothra proportions.

We drove home through a big storm.
