Fortunately, I stayed awake to make lunch today. Afterwards, sitting back and chatting with our guests, my eyes became leaden and refused to stay open. Mirinda woke me up a number of times by calling me grandpa. I don’t know why I was so tired. Maybe it was just time catching up with me.
Almost as soon as our guests left, I obeyed my brain and went to bed. I then woke up about two hours later, prepared to start the washing up, but was still half asleep. I left Mirinda and Jason to do the washing up and went back to bed.
Still, lunch, I think, was fine. At least, everything was eaten, so I guess that’s good. I made pork with green butter along with all the accompaniments plus bread and some cakes that Mirinda had bought at Emil’s Backe.

Actually, to be completely honest, the pork was a bit burnt on top. While this made it rather delightfully crunchy, it was far from perfect. Also, the carrots were a bit underdone. However, the gravy, I thought, was lovely.
I garnered quite a laugh when I took the photo above. Of my own food.
Anyway, our guests were Nicoline, Ann-Helen and Jason. It had started with just Jason, then I invited the others. Jason then decided not to come because he wanted to go and sit in a Friend’s Zone at the ice hockey. I gave the others the option of coming or not. When Jason then changed his mind, I didn’t tell Nicoline, keeping it as a surprise.
As it turned out, everyone had a lovely time.

After taking this photo, Nicoline declared that they’d now all be in the blog. How right she was.
