Fika at the ICA

Most of today was spent in assessing a couple of mapping apps for Mirinda. She is currently preparing a report on the two weeks away at the dig and she needs to map sounds and images as part of the report. In order to do that, she needs a bit of specific software. She found two, and it is my job to make one of them work.

There was a brief moment of Swedish sentence making with Nicoline but, otherwise, that was most of my day.

In the meanwhilst, Mirinda met up with her professor for fika at the ICA. The professor’s daughter works at the ICA so, given she was visiting her daughter, she figured they could meet up with Mirinda as well.

Later, Mirinda spent a while chatting with Sophie who reports that Tom is doing very well in York. “Who da’ thunk it?” I said. She also took the girls for a walk around the woods even though the weather was decidedly gloomy.

I cooked steak and mushrooms for dinner and warmed up the remaining rissoles for lunch (sorry Fi). I also fried the final two eggs from KSP’s half dozen to prove their deliciousness.

And, given not much happened today, I’ve included this sticker I spotted on a pole in Stockholm the other day:

I have no idea why a type of beer should garner such hatred.
