There appears to be some sort of bench war going on in the Trosa cemetery. Over the last several months, the bench I regularly rest upon during my return from shopping, keeps changing location.
It’s not a problem, given the bench is still in the general vicinity; it’s just odd.
Today, for instance, it had moved quite a distance further up the path to where it was yesterday. Though it was dry today.
The rain overnight had stopped by the time I was returning from ICA. This meant, not just a dry bench but also a complete eradication of the snow and ice. Something we were very pleased about.
The road conditions were much improved, meaning our trip to Nyköping in order to have our winter tyres fitted, was a lot safer.
As usual, the people at Euromaster couldn’t have been nicer. This is our fourth Euromaster branch and every one of them has had the loveliest staff. Clearly it’s a requirement of the job.
Of course, we could have done without the discovery that we need new brake pads. (I think Zed caught it from Nicoline’s car. ) We’re booked in to have them fixed on Friday.
This wasn’t the only expense today. On the way home, we popped into Elon and bought a huge TV. This is in order to make subtitle reading easier for Mirinda. Buying it today meant almost 50% off because of Black Friday. Though it was Monday.
Anyway, it’s arriving on Wednesday and it’s most exciting.
Mind you, not as exciting as having telekinetic spirits at war in the cemetery.
Note the brown patch in the right foreground. That’s where it was for some of Autumn. It has also been on the opposite side of the path and, originally, on the path.
All most peculiar.
