Cooker, theatre, and a flea

We drove over to Guildford to buy a cooker (£400) and to see The Weir at Yvonne Arnaud. The cooker is going to be brilliant; The Weir was fabulous.

Jenny, Dave’s wife in The Bill, was in it. All actors were superb – we’ve had it so good for the last few months. Mind you, it’s rarely bad but, it just seems to have been exceptionally good lately.

Back at home, we loaded Neville up for another trip to the house.

I wrote this entry in the conservatory while Mirinda laid on the grass, marking scripts and listening to her Walkman. It was a cloudless day of around 25°. It was 19:15 and the breeze through the house was lovely.

There was a flea in the lounge room, but I killed it
