Hej då

Today was proclaimed, Gaz Does Nothing Much All Day. This was not just because Gaz is lazy, it was also to prepare my foot for the rigours of tomorrow. But more about that tomorrow. Today saw the girls and me, resting up, in the house. Emma, spent a lot of time on the window sill waiting for Mirinda to return from Swedish class.

She’s going to have a long wait because, after Swedish class, Mirinda took the Arlanda Express to the airport and left for the UK for two weeks. I wonder how long before Emma stops waiting.

Actually, she didn’t stay long on the window sill because there was a bit of ball throwing in the offing. And we all know that ball throwing trumps everything else.

I sat a dining chair at the front (back) door and flickered the ball into the snowy grass for ages, attempting to wear her out. It didn’t work. Still, she did get outside and managed to run around a lot. Freya, of course, went out and sniffed around for a bit, then came back inside to the warmth. Such a comfort dog.

I gave them two bouts during the day to stop them getting too bored.

One thing I did do, was make myself a lamb casserole for dinner. I made enough to last two nights. And, if I do say so myself, it was delicious. Actually, the house smelled delicious for most of the day.

I think I’m going to struggle to find things to write about for the next two weeks, so I’ve suggested to Mirinda that, perhaps, maybe, she might write a few posts given she’s the one having adventures. We shall see.

Sadly you only make them fitter and more energetic by throwing the ball!
