The trip down the E4, to Trelleborg was pretty smooth though there were a few stretches of road works. There were also large swathes of lupins growing gloriously wild along the verges.
We pulled into the hotel just before 15:00 and managed a cheeky early check in. Having unpacked, we headed into town for some lunch.
We discovered Katarina’s, a marvellous little konditori. I can highly recommend the smoked salmon rolls. Apparently, they are very popular, the women told Mirinda when she said how good they were.
We then had a walk around before returning to the hotel for a rest before dinner.
It was a buffet and a stranger buffet I’ve never seen. An odd collection of dishes. They were all nice but just weird in combination.
Mind you, the beer was excellent.
Tomorrow, the first ferry.
