I have been thinking about creating a photo album on my website for ages. I want to get rid of my Flickr account but not before I have something else in place. The trouble is, I hadn’t found anything that I liked as much as Flickr. Then, the other day, I discovered Zenphoto.
I discovered it by accident when the blog went down last week. I logged into cPanel on my host system in order to log an error report and I realised the interface had changed. At the bottom of the options was a new set of apps. This section included a number of apps for photograph CMS. I tried a couple before deciding I liked Zenphoto best.
I downloaded the first 500 photos on my Flickr camera roll and uploaded them to Zenphoto and started playing with the software. It’s a slow old process but I think I’m getting a handle on it as I go along.
Mirinda headed into Stockholm today, to attend an InternationsGo social event, so I spent a lot of it, playing with Zenphoto. Consequently, the day was both frustrating and successful in about equal measure.
Of course, I had some excellent company.

And, of course, the weather continued to be perfect.
