One of the things I really wanted to achieve during this time in Sweden was to write the second draft of my Suki Bains novel. I wrote the first draft the last time we were here by spending an hour each day, locked away upstairs, typing. It was a tip I learned from Stephen King and it worked.
And so, with a second period of Sweden living on the horizon, I decided I would do it again. However, intention did not turn into production. Until today, that is. Today, I started the routine once more.
Mirinda asked me if I re-read the entire book before starting but, no, I’ve had thoughts about starting with a new first chapter. I spent my hour writing that. Afterwards I read it through and I was happy.
Hopefully, I’ll get to have a Writing Hour on a regular basis again.
Another regular occurrence is the second walk for the dogs around dinner time. Today I accompanied Mirinda around the streets on the other side of the main road.

There was no more snow today. In fact, it was warmer and sunny for most of the day. Maybe the snow has really ended now.
