Today might mark our final visit to Tyresö Centrum. I can’t see us ever coming back once we find a house. And, on Sunday, we move to Ekerö. Of course, we might have to come back to pick up mail but we’d probably go to Notholmen rather than the centrum. Anyway, we went today. I was going shopping and Mirinda wanted to try the new Centrum Fika.
Not that it’s exactly ‘new’ just refurbished. In fact, I asked Mirinda if it was the same people, and she thought it was. And the food appears to be the same as well. I’m thinking that the Centrum manages the café which would explain why it had such a quick turnaround.
As opposed to the Ica which is taking forever and progressively getting worse.
The newest addition is the need to scan your receipt in order to leave the shop. I’m not sure how that’s a good thing. It means that someone who goes into the shop has to buy something to exit. If a shopper can’t find what they want, they will now be forced to buy something they don’t want because there’s no free exit. How does that encourage shoppers?
It also means every customer will have to take a receipt, which means paper being printed for every shop, no matter how small. How is that environmentally aware?
Still, not my problem, though I’ll have to make sure I can exit the Ica near where we’re staying on Ekerö.
