Final farewell

Max left us today. They were headed for Weymouth, starting off on the next leg of their European adventure. Weymouth is where Flora is. Max and Flora will then be heading for Seville. As I said, when Max outlined the itinerary last night, I am dead jel.

It’s been great playing the crazy, fun adults for Max (and Luca and Auri earlier). We’re looking forward to the next one. Though we don’t know who that will be.

Of course, I was still laid up with gout, so Mirinda took Max (and Max) to the station to do the farewell dance. Except she didn’t. Apparently that was something reserved for other visitors. So, having not entertained Farnham station with her groovy moves, Mirinda headed off for a coffee.

A little later in the day, Mirinda took the girls to Thursley while I sorted through various bits of technology, deciding what to do with it. I also had to find out what to do about our winter tyres. They are near Stockholm and we enter Sweden at Trelleborg, 6 hours away. Euromaster has branches in Germany so we might be able to have them delivered. Unfortunately, no-one seems to want to talk to me.

I also managed to finish watching The Sinner. It was very satisfying and unexpected.

I hate being immobile and dependent. The sooner my foot falls off, or I die, the better.
