Went to the pub with Stevie first and played some pool. Obviously, drank some beer as well. Arrived at the party already buzzing and unfortunately missed the speeches. Oh dear.
Lots of beer flowing and I think I drank most of it. Had a great night. There were dodgems unlimited. Excellent. I won the most money (£500) at blackjack and danced the night away.
Eventually staggered home – the party was in Aldershot – in about 45 minutes on a sprained ankle. I fell over trying to find the exit. Ankle was mega swollen the next day and I could hardly walk. Also had very sore knees from the dodgems. Everyone at work was pretty much in the same condition.
