The trip home from Paris was pretty uneventful, apart from the big seat swap that happened as we left Paris Nord. It was odd because our carriage was pretty much full but when I traipsed down the train to the shop, there were near empty carriages one after the other.
Quite irritating when we arrived at St Pancras to find absolutely no taxis and a queue which would be waiting for about an hour. We ended up getting a bus – a lot cheaper and I don’t think it took very much longer.
Mirinda went in to work while I dragged the luggage home. Oh how nice it was to have a proper shower and sit content in our lovely garden.
