Gardener Dave turned up this morning with his helper and they took almost two hours to put the gravel board at the base of the back fence. They did take away all of the rubbish as well, which is good given it didn’t stop raining and would have been particularly smooshy.
I say that like I was there but I wasn’t, really. I went to the gym for the first time in 12 days (because of The Cold) so missed them turning up, then I went to the flat for general housework so missed them leaving. I vaguely saw Gardener Dave on a ladder waving a saw rather flamboyantly over the fence but that was it, really.
The trip into the flat was fine though the weather was a bit grim as I sat on Farnham station.

The trip across London was also fine though Canary Wharf looked almost as grim as Farnham when I arrived though with a few more people.
The housework took me a few hours during which time I took a photo of the growing Maine Tower.

And then back home, via Waitrose for food for dinner.
By the time I walked in the door I was knackered, though I think most of that was because I’d not been to the gym for a bit and my body was getting over the assault.

Wow what a difference it must be nearly finished the tower is getting higher and higher, Love mum xxxx
