Final strim

Today, after the gym and walking the puppies, I finished off strimming the wildflower patch which has been renamed Freya’s Forest.

I was amazed at how much the potato vine had grown since last year (the last time I saw it) hidden in the depths of the wildflowers. It is good and strong with lots of branches…in fact, it’s more tree than vine. We’ll have a lot of flowers next spring by the looks of it.

I eventually had it all finished then ran the mower over the grassy area for good measure otherwise, when we get back from France, it’ll be knee high.

I sat on the terrace and had a well earned beer. It felt very good.
