Round and round

On Skype with mum today, she asked if I could put some photos up of the garden. I talk about it a lot and she wants something visual (“that’s not too abysmal“) so this blog post is dedicated to the garden as it was this afternoon.

I think the rain and the humidity has had a lot to do with the overall abundance but it does rather put the dampeners (literally) on enjoying it from within.

Speaking of rain…at 6am this morning, the sky was blue and the sun was ablaze, lighting up the Farnham Window and flooding the extension in colour. At 7:30, when I left for the shops, it was completely grey and the rain was falling. The rain continued until just before I returned home. To be fair, it stayed away and the rest of the day was dry.

NB: In retrospect, the photos don’t really show off the flowers to any great degree (particularly the Candy bed). I might try again the next time we have a pleasant day…

It was great to me as I was forgetting where every thing was that purple is so lovely but I think the garden looks great thank you. I do hope I can come out next year so I can see it for real. Love Mum xxxx
