Another scorcher.
A note in the Times claims a movie adaptation of American McGee’s Alice PC game is be made starring Sarah Michelle-Geller. They produced this wonderful image:
Too hot for pool so Stevie and I popped down to the Wheatsheaf to down a few pints.
It was so hot that I felt ill walking home…or was it the beer? 6X? NEVER!
I had a lovely cooling cold shower when I got home so felt much better for yoga. Liz gave us a nice slow class. Even so, the sweat was starting to flow before the class was out.
At home we watched the moonrise. It’s always closest the night after the solstice and every 16 years it’s closer still. We watched it rise above the hill like a Babybel cheese. Quite fantastic.
