After the sunshine

As if by the power of some fanciful and capricious deity, today was the antithesis of yesterday. Yesterday the sky was uninterrupted, the sun beamed all day and the winds were kept to a minimum destruct level, today was wet, windy and worse.

Suffice it to say, we didn’t do very much. Well, that’s not entirely true. Mirinda worked on her DBA.

I did go shopping in the morning, mainly because the shops are all closed tomorrow (Christ was risen…a clear sign of the zombie apocalypse) but otherwise, I spent a lot of time in my office watching the weather when the rain eased.

I thought I’d better get a shot of Deer’s Leap, given I won’t be walking into town tomorrow.

And then, as the weather appeared to be clearing albeit momentarily, we headed for the garden centre. Apparently this is something you have to do on Easter Saturday.

So we bought some plants for me to insert during the week, some seeds, chicken wire, gloves and a big green apple. We then returned home and locked ourselves in for the rest of the day.

Emma was not impressed at not getting a walk.
