When I take Mirinda’s tea up in the morning, I am followed by two very eager dogs. It’s fair to say that Emma is a little more eager than Day-z and she’s usually leading the way. They both know when it’s going to happen because I never carry a cup of tea upstairs at any other time.
Since the arrival of Freya, we have been treated to an almost constant squeaking as she languishes at the bottom, unable to climb up. All that changed this morning.
There was a bit of a squeak at the bend and then the final, slightly higher, step but, she managed it and came trotting, confidently into the bedroom.
She was too quick for me to get a photo of her at the very top but here’s another at about two thirds of the way up.
Late in the day, we went for a glorious walk across Hankley (Mirinda worked from home today so she could meet with a guy who we’d like a quote from for the Cooler…who didn’t come because he’d done his back in) where Freya proved that Emma isn’t the only dog in our house who loves getting filthy.
Oh my what a mess can just imagine the water did you put them in together haha so she can walk up the stair at long last you wont be able to stop her now,she still looks as if she is struggling a bit.
Love mum xx
But she hasn’t learned to climb down yet …
