Job search

Had an interview yesterday. An agency called Avenue A/Razorfish. Just off Oxford Street. A pretty funky place but GOD I HATE LONDON! Crowded, smelly, BLECK!

I have another one on Tuesday in Thames Ditton which sounds much nicer. I bought a new suit specially. Pin stripe; very slick but I do look like a banker.

I think the interview went okay – the job is a good fit for me so you’d think so, wouldn’t you.

I then went searching for the house that Elizabeth Buttrick lived in after Edmund Hyam’s death but the street has had a name change and I couldn’t find it. Will have to go back armed with the correct name though, of course, the numbers and buildings may have changed as well.

Took Carmen to the vet again this morning. She’s really irritated her back leg – big rash.

Had a phone call on the way to the shops regarding a job in Guildford. Sounds brilliant! It’s a Test Lead and would require a trip to Pittsburgh.

Lovely sunny, blue day spoiled only by the council, which is building a ramp into the park, effectively blocking the stairs. Bastards.
