The rain didn’t stop today. It drenched the wildflower patch and liberally watered the bedding plants and roses alike. Sadly it also prevented us going for a walk.
Mirinda, meanwhile, was having a ‘bizarre’ time at her conference. 360 degree appraisals and personal interventions were the order of the day, culminating in a big unburdening by her boss. It was all a bit odd and, frankly, embarrassing. Still, at least it wasn’t dull and boring. And then there was the drive home in Max, which, of course, is always fun.
At home we indulged in housework and frequent towelling of the puppies to try and avoid muddy pawprints across the tiles…irritating but necessary. Emma is getting quite good at the paw drying procedure. Like Day-z, she stands patiently while I wipe each individual foot. Mind you, she still bites my hands while I’m doing it.
In the morning I had to make a few changes to the U3A Photographic Competition online albums, which was a bit fiddly but, eventually, completed.
I also dyed my hair.

I did my hair to as you will see on Tuesday.
Love mum xx
